Product design

UI design

When the structure is clear the detailed user interactions can be designed. Based on realistic content and brand information we create a clickable mock-up in code that is perfect for showing users the future (and seeing if they like it).

Three steps

  1. Understanding the structure

A UI designer combines the wireframes created by the UX designer and the existing components from the Design systems to a pixel perfect representation of the user interface. So the first step is diving deep into the existing design deliverables and challenging the feasibility of the concepts.

  2. Creating the User Interface

When all the pieces of the puzzle are clear, it is time to get jiggy with it. In Figma or Sketch the final interface is defined. It combines all features with the product branding and detail interactions (sometimes even animation!). The resulting screens are not just static image files, but a real prototype in code which developers can use as a reference and build further upon.

  3. Getting interactive

To get user feedback on an interface we need to create a realistic prototype. In the case of software that means not only screens but interaction. This allows us to validate if the designed digital product solves the problems of real users before you spend 10 bitcoin engineering it.

Deliverables

Clickable prototype

A visual and (user-)testable prototype in HTML and CSS that pleases users, engineers and you.

Components library

An overview of reuseable interface elements and accompanying code. This speeds up the work for future feature design, creates consistent interfaces and happy engineers.
